Expect a simple, clean and safe homestay type experience that will give you an insight into village life while staying in a lovely spot with great swimming, snorkelling, and surfing.

This is a great off the beaten track budget holiday out from Honiara!

The resort:

• maximum 6 guests at any time (3 rooms with up to 2 beds each)
• Local style food
• simple 'leaf house' (traditional style) accomodation with bedding and mosquito net provided
• set on white sand beach amongst orchid gardens
• access to the amazing right hand point break for surfing, lagoon for snorkelling
• cultural activities on request
• shared toilet and shower

Rates include a bed and 3 meals a day.

Overnight trek to or from Honiara through the rainforest can be arranged at additional cost. This is a hard but rewarding guided walk through rugged mountains, rainforest and remote villages.

SBD$200 per person each way to and from resort (public bus from Honiara to Visale and then outboard motor boat from Visale to Tangarare). Based on minimum 3 people travelling.
